An original painting from my Lost in the View collection.
I have painted this with my sprayed-oil technique. Layering the paint with possibly 40 layers to create the river landscape over the wood panel with a lovely depth of the view across the water and celebrates the beautiful River Severn that I live so close to.
Have a close look at the wood grain, which I use as my first layer of the painting, this pulls through the colours and helps balance the painting.
Finishing the painting with a Satin Varnish top coat. the painting with a Satin Varnish top coat.
Woodpanel 76cm Square, 2cm deep.
