Dreaming of the Landscape
Dreaming of the Landscape

An original painting from my Lost in the View collection.

I have painted this striking lush green landscape with my sprayed-oil technique. Layering the paint with possibly 40 layers to create the painting over the wood panel with such depth of field across the hills, and hedgerows in the Forest of Dean where I live.

The celebration of the wood grain, which I use as my first layer of the painting, pulls through the colours and helps balance the landscape painting. Finishing the painting with an Satin Varnish top coat.

Woodpanel 76cm Square, 2cm deep.
