Although we only spent a single day in Bayonne, the sight of vibrant Pink Sybil geraniums tumbling from balconies left a lasting impression and I wanted to capture this in a much larger piece. So I’ve explored that memory on a grander scale — building layer upon layer of delicate colour, like petals unfolding, to capture both the radiance and fragility of summer blooms. I think it’s a statement piece full of colour, energy, and light — a celebration of flowers in their most generous bloom.
